Reverend Dermot Verschoyle was born in Hampstead Garden Suberb, North London and educated in England. He has had a successful career in property development and co-founded the Groucho Club, the infamous watering hole for the literati in Soho, London. He is a member of the Diocesan Board of Education and is a curate of St.John the Evangelist Merrow, in Guildford where he lives with his wife, Kate a Doctor. He has three children, Charlie, Oliver and Stuart and is currently working on the second book of the Charlie Wonder trilogy.
